Nearly a century old, the Monte Carlo Beach Club is an emblematic destination on the French Riviera, synonymous with elegance and refinement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doroth\u00e9e Delaye reimagines it through a setting where the luxury of the 1920s meets contemporary comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cParticular attention was paid to seamlessly integrating the club into its exceptional natural surroundings, offering breathtaking views over the Mediterranean. The Mediterranean maximalism of the Roaring Twenties invites us to celebrate beauty, joie de vivre and the art of entertaining, within a refined and luxurious setting where everything is designed to transcend simplicity. This period\u2014synonymous in design with exuberance, layering and intricate detail\u2014is the perfect alchemy to restore the soul of this iconic place\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doroth\u00e9e Delaye creates a d\u00e9cor that moves between memory and heritage, within a warm, colourful, slightly unexpected yet distinctly contemporary atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the project, Doroth\u00e9e Delaye designed the entire restaurant furniture, as well as the poolside loungers and cabanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Materials are noble, colours often vibrant, and patterns\u2014sometimes exuberant and often custom-made\u2014harmonise perfectly with the idyllic setting, the light and the flower-filled terraces, evoking a sense of escape and exoticism inspired by the surrounding landscape and the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doroth\u00e9e Delaye also drew inspiration from artists deeply connected to the Riviera\u2019s aesthetic, such as Pablo Picasso, Raoul Dufy, Fernand L\u00e9ger and Jean Cocteau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
